Jonathan Hsu
Founder
Jonathan Hsu is the Executive Producer/Founder of Hsubox Productions Inc.
He most recently was the in-house Line Producer for BBDO Studios for 2013-2023 and has produced hundreds of commercials, social content for major brands like AT&T, FedEx, Starbucks, Dunkin’, Foot Locker, Mars, Apple, and Bacardi.
For film His credits include the acclaimed horror feature A Wounded Fawn(AMC Shudder) and the award-winning, Oscar Qualified film Starring Jerry as Himself (Amazon Prime) as well as Closing Dynasty (Netflix).
His films has screened and been awarded top prizes at Slamdance, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Berlinale, Tribeca, HollyShorts, Busan, SXSW, AFI Fest, HAIFF, and more.
Jonathan is a Gold House Future Film Fellow, a Film Independent Fellow, an active member of A-Doc, The Gotham, and was the past 2 years NYC Co-Regional Chair for the Documentary Producers Alliance.
When not on set, you’ll find him as @jonnythemagician, entertaining clients and crew — usually with a deck of cards just before the martini shot.
Peter Mamontoff
Junior Producer
Peter Mamontoff is a junior producer with HsuBox Productions.
Peter got his B.A. specializing in video and animation from the University of South Florida. Over the last few years he has worked on an array of projects from commercials, shorts and feature films.
He has worked on commercials with AARP, Apple, Jollibee, Dunkin’, Pepsi, TUI, Spectrum, NYC Dept of Health, and Red Wing.
In his free time he pursues screenwriting, sound design and video journalism.
