This short concept film was inspired by the magic of split depth gifs. With two simple white lines, you could create a 3D perspective from a flat 2D image without the use of 3D glasses or technology. I was so intrigued by where this came from that I decided to write the origin story for the technique: A device projecting two white lines that tears the fabric of space time. Passing through the device meant traveling back in time. However kinetic energy has an affect on how far back you go: If you walk, you go back 8 minutes, but if you run, you go back 8 hours.
